• Managed Logging: The MegaPath Managed Logging Service is a cloud-based offering that securely collects, analyzes, reports, and stores log data from MegaPath-provided or customer-owned security devices, network infrastructure, and host systems. This service uses an agentless approach to log collection that is rapidly deployable and scalable in all customer environments. For Microsoft^® Windows-based point-of-sale (POS) systems, the service also offers an optional File Integrity Monitoring function that helps you meet PCI-compliance requirements.
• Vulnerability Management: The MegaPath Vulnerability Scanning service provides Web-based network scanning tools for unlimited internal and external scanning by your security team. The service provides detailed scan reports and priorities on identified vulnerabilities that can be remediated by the customer or MegaPath. In partnership with multiple approved scanning vendors, we also provide the quarterly scan certification reports required to help meet PCI-compliance requirements.
• Security Information Management: Included at no additional cost with the purchase of the Managed Logging or Vulnerable Scanning services, our security portal provides case management, workflow, and reporting of log or vulnerability issues. Use the portal to track remediation activities and create reports for audits and assessments. The Security Information Management functionality provided by the MegaPath portal is a key element to maintaining effective security controls and demonstrating compliance with regulations and standards.
• File Integrity Monitoring: File Integrity Monitoring allows customers with Windows-based POS systems or other Windows servers to track user access and changes to critical system files—including the Windows registry. The service is based on the Windows internal object auditing function, which can be implemented at the file or folder level to provide near real-time monitoring of any file access activities or changes. The MegaPath File Integrity Monitoring functionality meets compliance requirements for PCI DSS v1.2 and 2.0. This functionality is an option for the MegaPath Managed Logging service.
